GENERAL
By when do we need to confirm our presence (RSVP)?
We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance before August 1st.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We are excited to celebrate with our loved ones. Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate those named on the invitation. Thank you for being so understanding about this!
Is there a specific dress code?
Absolutely!
Welcome night - A Cinematic Night at the Opera
Think elegant Parisian eveningwear — inspired by what you might wear to an evening at the Paris Opera. Cocktail attire, chic dresses, tailored suits, and a touch of glamour are encouraged. Find more inspiration here.
Wedding day - Black Tie optional
Aim to be the best dressed guest. When in doubt, err on the side of overdressed. Black tie is welcomed but not required. Tuxedos, suits, formal gowns, and elevated cocktail dresses are all appropriate. Find more inspiration here.
Day After - Parisian Brunch
Think effortless summer elegance — sundresses, linen sets, light shirts, and comfortable yet stylish attire suitable for a relaxed outdoor brunch.
Early September in France is generally warm, with daytime temperatures around 20–28°C (68–82°F). Evenings can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket, blazer or wrap.
Will there be any updates or news shared during the week?
If you would like to receive real-time updates during your stay, you can join our dedicated WhatsApp group through this link (published two weeks before the wedding).
Do you have any recommendations regarding gifts?
Your presence is the greatest gift of all. Should you wish to give something, a contribution toward our honeymoon would be truly appreciated and touch our hearts deeply.
As this is a destination wedding and everyone will be traveling from the United States, we kindly ask that no physical gifts be brought to the celebration. We are incredibly grateful for your thoughtfulness, and should you wish to give a physical gift, it would be much easier for us to receive it once we're all back home after the wedding.
TRAVEL & STAY
Where do we stay?
Accommodation is available for all guests either in the château itself or in one of the private guest houses located on the estate. Bed linen and towels will be provided, so there is no need to bring your own.
Check-in is available from 4 pm on Monday, August 31
Check-out is by 11 am on Friday, September 4
What's the best way to fly to France?
We recommend flying into Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), which offers the largest number of direct flights from the United States and is approximately a 45–60 minute drive from the venue.
How do I reach the venue?
Since many of our guests will be spending time in Paris before the wedding, we are currently looking into shared transportation from Le Marais to the venue on August 31st. If you would be interested in this option, please let us know in your RSVP. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Do I need a Visa to travel to France?
No. U.S. citizens do not currently require a visa for short stays in France. However, you do need a valid passport valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date.
Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay. We recommend ensuring it is valid for at least six months after your return date.
Will food and drinks be available throughout the weekend?
During all official wedding events, we will make sure you are well looked after with plenty of delicious food and drinks throughout the celebrations.
• Welcome Drinks & Pizza from 7 pm on August 31st
• Wedding Day celebrations on September 2nd from 3:30 pm - 1 am
• Farewell Brunch on September 3rd at 11 am
Outside of official events, the kitchen will be stocked with breakfast essentials and snacks.
Looking for an additional meal before or after the wedding festivities? The château is located in a peaceful countryside setting, and while there are limited dining options within walking distance, several lovely restaurants, cafés, and bars can be found within a 10–20 minute drive in the surrounding towns along the Seine Valley. We will share our recommendations here closer to the wedding.
